You’ve played armchair politics long enough.  Now, you can be the Commander-in-Chief in your own home or office with our replica of the President’s Resolute Desk.

Many presidents have used the Resolute desk in the Oval Office. It was made from the timbers of HMS Resolute, an abandoned British ship discovered by an American vessel and returned to the Queen of England as a token of friendship and goodwill. When the ship was retired, Queen Victoria commissioned the desk from William Evenden and presented it to President Rutherford Hayes in 1880.

Our Handcrafted, Resolute Desk Reproduction is just like the original in every detail, even down to the screws, which lock the doors in the desk pedestals.  It of course has the secret door made famous by John Kennedy Jr.

The desk is antiquated to replicate the original 1880 desk.  The leather top is made of pure, Scottish leather.

Solid mahogany with maroon leather top. 72.8" x 48" x 31".  A matching credenza is available.
